At the ancient village of T'aanuu Linagaay (Tanu)
life and death seem one...
The new standing forest,
slowly grows from the fallen,
and the remains of Tanu,
winter home to perhaps 500 Haida in the 1850's,
and now the last eternal home of Bill Reid,
father of so much of the Haida revival...
