Though Vancouver has quite a reputation for rain,
when the sun does appear it brings with it such glory.
And I love especially that edge when the rain stops and the sun returns.

And the unsung hero's of the Vancouver Marathon,
the wet and cheerful volunteers.

Every one of the runner's had there stuff carefully stored in plastic numbered bags until they finished their race. And here, my cold exhausted son gets his warm dry clothes back.

Last weekend was the Vancouver Marathon,
42 kilometers through the rain soaked streets and parks of Vancouver.
And this year it was special for me.
My youngest son Alex ran all 42 kilometers in 3 hours 28 minutes.

His face speaks volumes.

Traffic cones are everywhere in Vancouver as summer (construction season) draws closer;
watch out for this, go that way, and on and on...
But it seems their uses are endless, say,
scooter parking spots, or protest sign boards.
