Not to be too obsessive
about being remembered but,
meanwhile in Kelowna,
Lake Okanagan, like so many other places this spring,
is experiencing a 100 year flooding event.
Is this becoming the new normal?

When I shot these images at the Othello Tunnels in Hope 2 weeks ago,
I couldn't help thinking of the old 'Stargate sg1' series
that was shot in Vancouver back in the early 2000's,
where the tunnels represented a portal to other worlds.
It still feels like that,
except they were perfectly aligned tunnels built to get trains through
the Coquihalla Canyon back at the turn of the last century
for the Kettle Valley Railway.
Hope, British Columbia.
